Asha Jacket has a loose, boxy fit with dropped shoulders and straight sleeves, made from leftover cotton fabric. The main fabric is quilted together with a dot-printed lining in a checkered pattern, giving the jacket a soft, padded feel. It features an O-neckline with a small stand collar, and a front placket closed with imitated horn buttons. Two front pockets add a practical touch. The jacket is elegantly decorated with solid white embroidery, and all edges are finished with bindings for a clean and refined look.
At SISSEL EDELBO, they use leftover fabrics found in markets and from supplier’s stockrooms, also called ‘deadstock fabrics’. They cherish the idea of using different kinds of existing leftover fabrics instead of producing new materials. The styles made in the leftover fabrics will always be limited edition, due to the limited fabric amount that is left.
