Eve Ray designs' 'Schiaparelli and the Sea' collection. Inspired by the work of surrealist Italian designer, Elsa Schiaparelli and designer Maeve Barry's love of the ocean. A trip to the Elsa Schiaparelli exhibition in Paris showcased her surrealist accessories - including body parts, everyday objects, using mix metal of gold and silver - from the start of her career to the current designs by Daniel Roseberry. Combining this witty and dramatic use of objects as jewellery, and a love of the sea - in particular growing up next to Banna Strand in County Kerry - and taking the mix of metal tones that shape the sand, the 'Schiaparelli and the Sea' was created.
Lightweight scallop shell clay pendant in gold and blue. Pendant is detachable, for you to use with necklaces, bracelets or as a bag charm. Each pendant is sold with one of two necklace options - thin gold plated rope necklace or a thin gold plated link necklace.
